The plain manual

How each one works.

No mystery. Here's exactly what to do with everything we make — a few steps each, in plain words. If a step needs more than one sentence, we failed; tell me and I'll fix it.

The Free Kit

The whole method, named and explained, plus real sentences to hear tonight. No card, no catch.

  1. Drop your email on the free page. That's the only thing it asks for, and it's how the kit reaches you.
  2. Open the kit in your inbox. It lands in a minute or two. Inside: the method in plain steps, and your first real sentences with audio.
  3. Play them out loud once. Don't study — just hear a sentence, understand it, say it back. That's the whole method in one rep.
  4. When you want a daily habit, tap through to today's reps — a new set is waiting free every morning.
Don't want to hand over an email yet? On the free page tap "try a real sentence first — no email" and you're straight into a live rep.

The Daily Reps

A few minutes a day, free forever. This is the habit the whole thing is built to make easy.

  1. Open /play. Pick your language once at the top — it remembers next time.
  2. Hit "Start today's session." You get a short set of real sentences, not a word list.
  3. For each one: listen, then choose the sentence that matches. Get it right and you bank a little XP.
  4. Say it out loud when it asks. The mic listens and tells you if you landed it. No mic? Tap "I said it" and keep going.
  5. Stop when the set ends. Ten minutes is a real day. Come back tomorrow — a fresh set is already waiting.
Come back tomorrow — a fresh set is already waiting. Keep it simple: one habit, /play.

The First Win

Chapter 1, taught by me on video, in my real voice — five short lessons, about twenty minutes. Plus the chapter written out as a PDF you keep.

  1. Buy it once from the products page. One payment, yours forever, 30-day money-back.
  2. Land on your thank-you page. It carries your personal links — bookmark it so you can come back.
  3. Watch Lesson 1A first — it's the shortest and it's the "why." Then 1B through 1F, one at a time. Under three minutes each.
  4. Open the reader to read the same chapter, and grab the PDF from the button top-right if you like paper.
  5. Do the Day One exercise when a lesson hands it to you. That's your first real win — a sentence you actually understood.
  6. Ready for reps to practise on? That's the $39 Method Kit — different job, not a bigger version.

The Method Kit

1,307–1,393 core sentences depending on the language, every one with real native audio, two-voice dialogues (ten written into the download; thirty play in your browser in every language but Italian), a 90-day plan — and every sentence ready to load into Anki so it drills itself. Seven languages live today.

  1. Pick your language on the kit page, then buy it once. 30-day money-back.
  2. On your thank-you page, read "Start here — your 90-day plan" first. It tells you what to do on day one — ten minutes, not the whole thing.
  3. Practise in your browser right away. The dialogues and the sentence practice open in a link on that page — nothing to install, works on your phone.
  4. Download the kit files (the .zip and the .apkg Anki decks) when you want them offline and forever.
  5. Load the Anki deck so the audio drills you every day. It's the highest-value part of the kit — the full walkthrough is right below.
The catch nobody warns you about: the .apkg file only opens in an app called Anki. If you double-tap it and nothing happens, you haven't installed Anki yet — that's step one below, and it's free on a computer.

The one that trips everyone up

Loading the Anki deck

Anki is the free flashcard app that shows you a card exactly when you're about to forget it. Our deck is a file you feed into it — with the audio baked in. Here's the whole thing.

  1. Install Anki — it's free. On a computer (Mac, Windows, Linux) and on Android it's free at apps.ankiweb.net. On iPhone/iPad it's $24.99 — that's Anki's price, not ours. Don't want to pay it? Use Anki on a computer, or just use the browser practice on your thank-you page — that needs nothing installed.
  2. Download the deck — the .apkg file from your thank-you page. On a phone, save it; don't try to open it in a file viewer, it'll look like gibberish.
  3. Open the file with Anki. On a computer, double-click it. On Android, open Anki → ⋮ → Import. It shows up as a Languy deck.
  4. Do 10 cards today. Not 100. Listen, say it out loud, flip to check. Ten cards is a real day — Anki handles the rest.
  5. Come back tomorrow. Anki decides what you see and when. Trust it. That "show me right before I forget" timing is the whole point.
Stuck on any step? Reply to your receipt email — it reaches me. Screenshot what you're seeing and I'll tell you the next tap.

Practice that doesn't feel like practice
